On the Langue de Barbarie, in the heart of the fishermen's quarter and close to the market, the Centre Culturel Le Château offers travelers three spacious, bright rooms all year round. In the former Palais de la Mauritanie, now a venue for artistic creation, overnight stays are used to support our local cultural project.

Artist residency
Throughout the year, the Château hosts residencies for local, national and international artists. For several years now, dancers, actors, photographers, sculptors and writers have been working on creative projects in our spaces. Drawing on an exceptional location, our cultural network and technical, administrative and artistic support, the residents find the Centre Culturel Le Château an ideal space in which to nurture their creative work.
