CHÂTEAU CULTURAL CENTER

Located on the Langue de Barbarie, in the heart of the fishermen's quarter (N'Dar Toute), the Centre Culturel Le Château is the former Palais du Gouverneur de la Mauritanie, where numerous activities take place throughout the year.

Creative residencies for local, national and international companies, leading to artistic training.

Diffusion of shows, multidisciplinary programming (theater, dance, cinema, music, circus...)

Welcome local residents to develop their activities: headquarters for associations, rental space for events.

An incubator for cultural players , including a dance school, sound engineering school, video producers, graphic designers and webmasters, who share our premises and a common charter.

Administrative support for local companies, as well as training courses, professional meetings and personalized accompaniment.

Logistical and technical support for local festivals by providing space and equipment.

Welcoming groups and travelers for intercultural exchanges. Above all, the Château is an open, value-bearing place, a meeting place where residents, artists, the public and travelers meet at any time of the day or week....

Le Château is a factory: a factory of artistic identities, of shows, of cultural employment, of audiences, and above all a factory of collective adventures.
